Können wir Sie treffen?
Absolutely! My name is Kennedy Opara, proudly born and raised in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria. I’m someone who thrives on adventure and spontaneity—always up for trying something new, whether it's a last-minute trip, a unique meal, or an unexpected creative project. I have a deep appreciation for both art and nature, often finding inspiration in the beauty of everyday life. Family means everything to me, and I hold those connections close to my heart. When it comes to food, I can’t resist a good chicken dish—it’s hands down my favorite protein. I’m always excited to learn, grow, and bring positive energy into every space I find myself in.
Who is your favorite wheatbaker chef?
Honestly, I do not have a single favorite chef at The Wheatbaker—what I do have is a solid working relationship with most of them. Chefs like Victor, Rachel, Praise, Ferdinand, Sarah, Paul, and Tolu are all incredibly easy to work with. They consistently prioritize guest satisfaction, which aligns perfectly with my own goals. Their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to excellence make every collaboration smooth and impactful.
Lieben oder sehen Sie Fußball?
Absolutely—I love and watch football! It’s more than just a game for me; it’s a passion. I enjoy the thrill, the strategy, and the energy that comes with every match. Whether it’s cheering for my favorite team or just enjoying a good game with friends, football is definitely part of my lifestyle.
What team do you support and Why?
I’m a passionate supporter of Manchester United—and for good reason. In my eyes, they’re the best club in the world. It’s not just about the trophies or legacy, it’s the spirit of the team, the resilience, the global fan base, and the rich history that make them stand out. Supporting United is more than football—it’s loyalty, pride, and passion all rolled into one.
If not Manchester United, what team/club would you have been supporting?
It would definitely be AC Milan! I’ve always admired the Italian club—their rich history, iconic players, and stylish style of play. There's just something about their legacy and the way they carry themselves on the pitch that really stands out. They've got class, passion, and that timeless football charm.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about being a waiter is the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all walks of life. It’s rewarding to be part of someone’s special experience—whether they’re celebrating, relaxing, or just enjoying a good meal. There’s something fulfilling about delivering great service and seeing guests genuinely enjoy themselves. And when guests show their appreciation with a kind word or a generous tip, it makes the effort even more worthwhile.
As a football lover, who is the GOAT in the national team for Nigeria?
To be honest, I don't think there's a true "GOAT" in the current Nigerian national team just yet. While we have talented players, none have quite reached that legendary status for me. However, when it comes to the all-time greatest footballer in the world, it's without a doubt Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro — CR7. His consistency, drive, discipline, and record-breaking legacy make him the ultimate GOAT in my eyes.
