Peju Alatise

Peju Alatise (born 1975) is a Nigerian mixed media artist, writer and poet, with an educational background in architecture. She has always been drawn to art and has been a practicing studio artist for over sixteen years.

Peju has held several solo exhibitions, and her works reside in many local and international collections around the world.

In 2016, she was selected to become a fellow at the Smithsonian Institute of African Art and her work was recently exhibited at Venice Biennale’s 57th edition
