The Sales Department. It is actually one of the hardest-working and most demanding departments in the hotel—and for good reason. In sales, we do not just sell rooms or event spaces—we’re selling experiences, nurturing relationships, anticipating client needs, and constantly adapting to market trends. It requires resilience, creativity, emotional intelligence, and an unwavering drive to meet and exceed targets. The pressure is real—deadlines, follow-ups, proposals, and negotiations can stack up fast—but the reward is equally fulfilling when our effort translates into actual business. It’s a department that demands a lot, but it shapes the hotel’s success story. To thrive in sales is to constantly challenge yourself, keep learning, and remain two steps ahead. And that’s exactly what makes it both tough and tremendously rewarding.
