Onye na-ese ihe

Fisayo Deborah Frimpong

Dvóra is a self-taught Nigerian mixed-media artist born in 1996. She grew up in Lagos and began her professional career after a dramatic shift of events that charged her with an innate desire to create. She can be described as an emblematic artist, using various forms, elements, mediums, and concepts to convey the attributes of creation to the characteristics of life. Thus, her works revolve around expressive reflections of her life experiences.

Dvóra’s works exhibit a quest for blooming in love, joy, happiness, peace, and freedom in reference to standards of truthful living as opposed to the world’s. She acknowledges God as the forbearer and ultimate creator; as the artist says, “I am called to create and go the extra dimension in channeling art to all facades of life…”

As Dvóra continues to explore through art, she looks forward to creating depth and dynamics in shaping the world to the word.
