Echoes of a Royal Welcome is the next chapter.

This is not just a song, it is a ceremonial invitation, a continuation of our annual welcome into a space where royalty comes and goes, where gentlemen attend to gentlemen, and where every arrival is met with intention and honour.

Created entirely by the staff of The Wheatbaker Hotel, scripted, written, composed, sung, recorded, and performed by the beautiful people who define our hospitality. This over 7-minute musical experience reflects the soul of our brand and the culture we proudly live every day.

Shot at a breathtaking location with epic views, the film elevates our tradition of ushering guests into the year ahead with music, movement, and meaning.

The journey opens with a Yoruba royal hail, percussion rising as lights shift from blue to gold:

“Ẹyin lóba… Ẹ ki yin káàáàbọ̀ sí yara ìtura wa.”

A call that says: you were expected.

The chorus responds with joy and confidence:

“You’re welcome
To the year filled with love To your wins,
no more losses
Better days just begun.”

A female spoken-word poet follows, celebrating Nigeria as a land of royalty and resilience:
