1. Fortune, welcome to The Wheatbaker! What made you excited to step into the role of creating content for us?
What excited me was the opportunity to tell the story of a hotel with so much character. The Wheatbaker has beautiful spaces, but it also has people, creativity and thoughtful service behind every experience. I wanted to bring those details to life and help people connect with the hotel before they even walk through the doors.
2. How would you describe your personal creative style in three simple words?
Expressive, thoughtful and cinematic. I enjoy creating content that looks beautiful, but I also want it to have personality and make people feel something.
3. What is your absolute favorite spot in the hotel to snap a quick photo or record a reel?
I’m drawn to spaces that have character, whether that is a quiet corner at KÓFÍ, an artwork or a beautifully arranged room. What matters most to me is the light, the composition and the story I can tell with the space.
4. What is the best part about getting to tell The Wheatbaker’s story on social media every day?
The best part is finding a story in something people might otherwise overlook. A small act of service, a team preparing for an event or a spontaneous staff moment can become content that helps people appreciate the work behind the experience.
5. What’s one phone feature, app, or tool you can’t live without when making content?
My phone camera is essential. It allows me to capture moments as they happen, especially the natural ones that cannot be recreated. Having a camera close by helps me turn everyday moments into stories.
6. If a first-time guest checked our Instagram page right now, what’s the first thing you want them to feel?
I want them to feel welcomed and curious. I want the page to give them a sense of the hotel’s warmth, character and attention to detail, and make them picture themselves enjoying an experience here.
7. Which hotel department do you think has the coolest behind-the-scenes moments to capture?
Every department has something interesting to show, but the kitchen offers especially strong behind-the-scenes moments. There is movement, teamwork, precision and creativity happening at once. I also enjoy showing the work of departments whose contributions guests may not always see.
8. What’s your favorite photo or video trend on social media right now?
I enjoy relatable staff trends that let people’s personalities come through. When a trend fits naturally, it can make the hotel feel approachable and give our audience a reason to smile. I’m interested in adapting ideas in a way that still feels like The Wheatbaker.
9. Where do you usually go or look when you’re searching for fresh creative inspiration?
I find inspiration in everyday interactions, music, film and the way other creators tell stories. I also pay attention to our own spaces and colleagues. Sometimes the strongest idea comes from noticing something happening right in front of me.
10. What makes a photo or video instantly stand out to you when you’re scrolling on your phone?
A strong opening catches my attention, but emotion and originality make me stay. Beautiful lighting and thoughtful editing help, but I remember content that has a clear point of view or makes an ordinary moment feel special.
11. When you’re not filming or editing videos for work, what do you love doing in your free time?
I enjoy music, exploring creative ideas and watching films, especially intense survival stories. I also like experimenting with ideas for songs and visuals. Even outside work, I often find myself thinking about how a sound or a moment could become a story.
12. What is your favorite dish or drink at The Wheatbaker that you love showing off on camera?
I’m especially drawn to dishes that show the kitchen’s creativity through colour, texture and presentation. I enjoy capturing the finishing touches and the care that goes into a plate, because those details make food content inviting.
13. What kind of vibe or energy do you hope to bring to our social media pages?
I want our pages to feel warm, elegant and alive. The content should reflect the quality of the hotel while allowing the personalities of our team to shine through. I want people to feel that there are real people behind the experience.
14. What is one exciting project or video idea you can’t wait to create for our followers?
I’m excited to keep developing Behind the Wheatbaker Experience. It gives us a chance to introduce the people and departments who make the hotel work, and show the care behind details guests enjoy every day.
15. What is one fun or random fact about you that people might not guess just from your social media profile?
I enjoy developing song ideas as well as visual content. Music plays a big role in how I imagine an edit, and I’m particularly drawn to expressive flute melodies and emotional bridges. Sometimes I begin imagining the feeling of a video through its sound before I plan the pictures.
