1. What inspired you to bring your hospitality skills to our Spa team?
Hospitality has always been about creating meaningful experiences for me. I enjoy making people feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. Joining The Wheatbaker Spa gives me the opportunity to combine excellent guest service with wellness, helping guests leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and valued.
2. First impressions set the tone for total relaxation; how do you greet guests to ensure they instantly feel at ease?
I believe a warm smile can change the mood of someone's day. I welcome every guest with genuine warmth, eye contact, and a calm, friendly approach. I want them to feel that from the very first "Welcome to The Wheatbaker Spa," they're in a place where they can truly relax.
3. What is your personal philosophy on wellness and maintaining balance in daily life?
To me, wellness is about balance. It's not just about taking care of your body, but also your mind and emotions. I believe rest, gratitude, healthy habits, and making time for yourself are all important parts of living a balanced life.
4. When a guest arrives feeling stressed after a long day in Lagos, what is the first ritual or treatment you recommend?
I would recommend our Aromatherapy Massage. It's a beautiful way to release tension, calm the mind, and help the body unwind after the hustle and bustle of Lagos. It's often the perfect first step to feeling completely restored.
5. In your opinion, what makes the Spa at The Wheatbaker a true sanctuary for our guests?
The Wheatbaker Spa is more than a place for treatments, it's a peaceful escape. From the calming ambience to the personalized attention guests receive, every detail is designed to help them disconnect from stress and reconnect with themselves.
6. How do you guide guests in choosing the perfect spa treatment tailored to their personal needs?
I start by listening. Every guest is different, so I ask about how they're feeling, what they hope to achieve, and any preferences they have. That helps me recommend treatments that are personalized and meaningful for their experience.
7. What is your favorite tranquil corner or design element within the Spa environment?
My favorite space is the reception area. The warmth, beautiful ambience, and elegant aesthetic instantly create a sense of relaxation. It's the first thing guests experience, and I love how it quietly tells them they've stepped into a place of comfort and calm.
8. As the welcoming face of the Spa, what core value do you aim to embody every single day?
I aim to embody warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. I want every guest to feel respected, welcomed, and confident that they're in good hands from the moment they arrive until they leave.
9. What is one daily self-care habit or piece of wellness advice you personally swear by?
I never underestimate the power of staying hydrated and taking a few quiet moments for myself each day. Sometimes, a little pause is exactly what we need to reset and show up as our best selves.
10. How do you build a warm, personalized rapport with guests who are visiting us for the very first time?
I enjoy getting to know people. I listen attentively, remember small details, and make each guest feel comfortable asking questions. Those little moments of genuine connection often turn a first visit into a memorable experience.
11. When you are off duty, how do you like to relax and spend your personal time?
I enjoy hairstyling, exploring fashion, spending quality time with loved ones, and learning new skills that help me grow personally and professionally. Creative activities help me relax and recharge.
12. What small, thoughtful detail during a guest's spa visit do you think makes the biggest difference?
I think it's the little things—remembering a guest's name, offering a refreshing drink, or paying attention to their preferences. Those thoughtful touches make guests feel seen, appreciated, and genuinely cared for.
13. If you could describe the energy and atmosphere you bring to The Wheatbaker Spa in three words, what would they be?
Calm. Warm. Welcoming.I want my presence to make guests feel relaxed, comfortable, and at home.
14. What are you most excited to learn or accomplish as you start your journey with us?
I'm excited to grow in luxury hospitality, deepen my knowledge of wellness and guest experience, and become someone who consistently creates memorable moments for every guest who visits The Wheatbaker Spa.
15. What is one fun or unexpected fact about yourself that colleagues and guests might be surprised to discover?
I'm a hairstylist who genuinely enjoys helping people look and feel their best, both inside and out. I'm also a fashion lover with a creative eye for style, and I'm naturally very friendly, so connecting with people comes easily to me. I love bringing positive energy wherever I go.
